ORLANDO, Fla. (July 11, 2019) – Two of Orlando’s top brokers, Julia Sosa and Cynthia Shelton, CCIM, CRE, are “Women of Influence” of 2019, as named by GlobeSt.

This prestigious award recognizes women in the real estate community who significantly impact and grow the profession and their area. Each nominee is judged on reputation in their firm and professional community, career highlights, creativity in problem solving, and dedication to developing their fields and the role of women within it, as well as other measures.

“There are a lot of women doing great things in commercial real estate, and it is truly humbling to be recognized among them,” said Shelton, Senior Managing Director.

In addition to spearheading the LandQwest Investment Services (LQIS) Division, Shelton stays connected to the industry by teaching Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) and brokering retail investment sales throughout Florida.

Sosa’s successful year of includes the leasing varied retail projects like the prominent Sunset Walk at Margaritaville Resort Orlando to selling freestanding retail buildings to representing a diverse tenant portfolio including Little Caesars, Verizon, Regal Cinemas and Choice Hotels.

A Principal of LandQwest Commercial Orlando, Sosa additionally spearheads the company’s Central Florida development efforts, all the while carefully teaching young Associates the intricacies of the [commercial real estate] industry.
