FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 11, 2019) – LandQwest Commercial proudly introduces a structured mentorship program that educates the next generation of commercial real estate professionals through its “LandQwest Junior Agent” (LQJA) series.

Crafted by some of the areas’ top producers in brokerage and branding, the LQJA platform is a one-of-a-kind mentorship between recently licensed [real estate] sales associates and leaders of the LandQwest Retail, Office, Land, Industrial, and Investment Divisions.

Initially launched in Southwest Florida in the Spring of 2019, this two-phase “LQ 101” practicum is comprised of proven best practices, network engagements, structured educational courses, local market surveys and more. This collaborative structure catapults those entering a commission-based environment by providing corporate leads and direct mentorship in all commercial silos.

“It can be difficult to compete against tenured professionals with a longstanding book of business,” said Courtney Saksefski, Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve found this to be a barrier to entry for those entertaining the commercial real estate industry, so LandQwest wanted to open a door and ease this transition.”

“This is unlike any structure I have seen before,” said Managing Principal, Adam Palmer, CCIM. “It can take decades to fully understand the intricacies of this industry. Thus, a lot of planning went into determining how to pave the way for success in an expedited timeframe. This also allows us to attract highly-educated professionals who may not otherwise consider a career in commercial real estate.”

Formerly of John R. Wood in Naples, Haley Blorstad was selected to pilot this unique program and transition from residential to commercial. “The decision to work for LandQwest was easy because of their esteemed reputation and large presence in the Florida commercial real estate market,” said Blorstad.

In a few short months, Haley has progressed to work on a handful of high-profile assignments and actively canvas for sale, lease, and tenant representation opportunities. “From my involvement in this process,” she added, “I have realized how crucial it is to understand the market in order to negotiate for clients, and recognize the patience and persistence it takes to be a producer in this industry.”

Haley works across the entire Southwest Florida region and currently offices out of Fort Myers and Naples. Upon completion of the LQJA program, she will continue to nurture relationships with tenants, owners, and agents with the intent to operate out of the new Naples office.
